Danish Government Under Fire for Mocking Man with Dementia

International community criticizes Denmark for mocking a man with dementia after Nobel Peace Prize rejection and attempted Greenland grab; France’s Trudeau is énervé.

Danish elected officials have drawn criticism for mocking an elderly man with dementia while he attempts to lead a global superpower.

The Danish government found itself in hot water after mocking and cursing an elderly man in the late stages of dementia.

“This is not the Denmark I know,” said French Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “To make fun of an old man with dementia is pas copacétique.

Trudeau said that based on his own experience, it is clear the man frequently does not know where he is, what year it is, or even who he is.

“He often doesn’t even know that he’s the president of the United States,” Trudeau said, eyes wide with alarm. “So to laugh at a man like that is méprisable. Denmark is on my merde list at the moment, c’est certain.

Earlier this week, tensions escalated when Danish politician and European Parliament member Anders Primdahl Vistisen told the president to “[expletive] off.”

Multiple sources confirmed the expletive was the F-word.

“Do you tell your own demented grandfather to [expletive] off?” Vice President J.D. Vance said, holding back tears. “My granddaddy was an absolutely amazing …”

Because Vance’s story was boring and soaked in absurd histrionics, Bugle staff declined to publish the remainder of his quote.

Vistisen was formally reprimanded by the chair of the European Parliament, who said he understood and even agreed with Vistisen’s passion but noted that profanity was not permissible.

“He’s a Pikansjos of epic, unmatched proportions, but we still cannot use profanity,” the chair said, referring to Trump.

Pikansjos translates to “dick anchovy“ in Danish.

Danish officials defended their response. Politician Lars Larsen asked the international community how it would feel “if a crazy old man told you he was going to steal the largest island in the world — which belongs to you and Indigenous peoples — simply because he didn’t win the Nobel Peace Prize?”

Greenland has been a part of Denmark’s kingdom for about 800 years.

“I mean, get real,” Larsen added. “You’d have to be as demented as Trump.”
